Sexy Viral Marketing

MSN has launched a fully animated search engine to combat Google.

Ms. Dewey is a young, black librarian doing her best to help you find what you are looking for, but who gets bored if you don’t ask her the right question. This is how it works. You enter a search term and regular search result will appear on a pop up window. Then, before you actually get any results, Ms. Dewey comes into action. She will try to tell you the answer. This usually takes a lot of time on Ms. Dewey’s side. The whole thing is fun and the animations are fantastic. However, as a search tool, it might not work at all for three reasons.

1) Response time is very slow
2) Results are difficult to read
3) No advanced search features

I am guessing lots of people will go to the site to play around for a while, but to make a serious search most of them will go back to Google.

But take a look for yourself and tell me what you think. Check Ms. Dewey HERE
